CAROLINE MANSY - DELMARVA DIABETES CENTER OPEN IN SALISBURY

  Salisbury – August 18, 2020– Caroline Mansy – Delmarva Diabetes Center announced it is open to returning and new patients at 1340 Belmont Ave #503 in Salisbury, Maryland. 

Led by certified diabetes educator, Caroline G, Mansy, CRNP CDE BC ADM, Delmarva Diabetes Center focuses on helping people take control of their health and wellness to manage their Diabetes. 

“I have been working in diabetes management on the Shore for over 25 years,” said Mansy. “My job is to listen first. Learn about their lifestyle, daily challenges they face and then develop an individualized plan to help them meet their goals.” 

Delmarva Diabetes Center provides services to adolescents (starting at age 12) through adulthood. Diabetes management services include diagnostics such as continuous glucose monitoring, lab work, medical management of insulin and oral agents and complication management. The center also provides start-up materials including a glucose meter and first bottle or pen of insulin. 

Caroline also provides 10-day in house glucose monitoring with evaluation and interpretation with recommendations for medication changes. Insulin pump training, glucose meter instruction and nutrition and weight loss counseling are also provided. 

Delmarva Diabetes Center accepts Medicare, Maryland State Medicaid, and all major insurances. Patients do not need a referral to schedule an appointment with Delmarva Diabetes Center. If insurance does require a doctor’s referral, the DDC team will call the necessary primary physician to get the referral faxed over and then schedule an appointment.
